During the 19th century

SARATOGA SPRINGS in New York

became one of the most fashionable spas

in the country with enormous Victorian Hotels.

The Sratoga Association for the improvement

of the Breed Horses was organized in 1863 

and sponsored annaul horse races that attracted  

fashionable crows. Today, the races are still held

every year August.Saratoga Springs is also the home for the 

National Museum of Racing which contains

momentos of great horses races and riders.
